- I am having a problem that seems to be related to win95 DUN (Dial Up Networking).
- No matter what I do, my modem (AT&T dataport 14.4) always ends up with the
- factory default S0 setting (S0=1, answer on one ring). I even tried modem
- logging, and typed the same commands I see in the modem log, and have ended
- up with s0=0. Yet, after I disconnect from my DUNs, I am left with S0=1,
- and I have to either use a plain "Terminal" session to reset it,
- or turn the modem off/on (My power-on defaults have S0=0).
-
- Could the DUN program be sending more commands to the modem
- than I am seeing in the modemLog.txt file?
-
- This is a minor problem, but annoying nevertheless. If anyone can supply
- the answer to this, I will be grateful!
